HATCH by TOUCH Preschools Programs
Playgroup (PG)
18 months – 2 years
Our youngest learners are gently introduced to school through play, music, and sensory exploration. In a warm and caring environment, they build trust, social skills, and independence in simple routines.
Nursery 1 (N1)
3 years
At this stage, curiosity blooms. Children are encouraged to ask questions, express themselves, and explore new experiences. Learning focuses on language, social interaction, and hands-on discovery.
Nursery 2 (N2)
4 years
N2 builds stronger foundations in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving. Children engage in projects, collaborative play, and creative arts while developing confidence and resilience in a group setting.
Kindergarten 1 (K1)
5 years
Children take bigger steps towards independence and inquiry. With more structured activities, they strengthen early reading, math, and critical thinking skills, while learning teamwork, empathy, and responsibility.
Kindergarten 2 (K2)
6 years – preparing for Primary 1
K2 equips children with the academic readiness and social-emotional maturity needed for Primary school. They practice communication, self-management, and leadership while carrying forward HATCH’s values of confidence, care, and curiosity.

Frequently Ask Questions
What makes HATCH by TOUCH Preschool different?
HATCH by TOUCH Preschool welcomes all children aged 18 months to six years — including those with varying early intervention (EI) needs.
We offers a safe, inclusive environment supported by in-house allied health professionals, a neuro-movement programme, and the Development and Learning Support Programme run with KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
Previously appointed under SG Enable’s ICCP, our preschools remain committed to inclusion and supporting every child’s learning journey.
Does inclusion affect the pace or structure of lessons?
Inclusion doesn’t hold back learning — it enriches it. Our lessons are thoughtfully designed to be flexible and responsive, meeting the needs of every child.
When children learn alongside peers with diverse abilities, they grow in empathy, adaptability, and deeper understanding. Our preschool teachers and early intervention specialists also work closely together to co-plan, co-teach, and co-assess — so every child is supported to thrive at their own pace.
Will inquiry-based learning affect my child’s readiness for Primary One?
Not at all — inquiry-based learning strengthens your child’s readiness for Primary One.
By encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and independent thinking, children develop strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. Our curriculum is aligned with the Nurturing Early Learners(NEL) framework set by MOE, ensuring they meet key milestones.
Children from our preschools transition confidently into Primary One — not just academically ready, but equipped with the resilience, confidence, and love for learning that will carry them through their school years.
Are meals freshly made in-house each day?
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks during the school day. Our menus are thoughtfully planned to ensure children enjoy balanced, healthy food that supports their growth and energy needs
How does my child’s first day look like?
Your child’s first is filled with care and reassurance. Our teachers focus on helping them feel safe and comfortable through familiar routines, gentle guidance, and warm interactions. We work closely with parents to ease separation, build trust, and ensure each child feels supported as they begin their learning journey.
Are your teachers trained to support my child’s development?
Yes. Our educators are not only qualified in early childhood education, but they also receive specialised training in inclusive practices. Many of our teachers have over 10–20 years of experience, and they are deeply committed to supporting children of all abilities with empathy, patience, and skill
Will I receive regular updates on my child’s progress?
We believe in strong home–school partnerships. Our teachers keep parents informed through regular updates, parent–teacher meetings, and even home visits when needed. These touchpoints help us share each child’s learning journey, celebrate milestones, and work together to support their growth both in school and at home
Will my child get outdoor playtime?
Yes. Outdoor play is part of our daily routine whenever the weather permits. Each centre is equipped with safe play areas, and our teachers use this time to encourage physical activity, social interaction, and exploration of nature
